Ilaria was born in Puglia, in the south of Italy but grew up in Rome, where hospitality and a love of good food constantly surrounded her. With two chefs in the family, there wasn't much choice but for her to follow in their footsteps within the hospitality industry.
She moved to London, where she found her natural home as front of house, looking after guests.

She started her journey in Michelin-starred restaurants more than 5 years ago and she’s currently a Restaurant Manager at Portland, a fantastic, small, 1-star restaurant in Fitzrovia.

She loves the world of hospitality and the adrenalin of a busy service; the connections you make with the team and guests. Ultimately, hospitality is her life and obsession.
